Astha’s Global Training Services was established in 2003 in order to provide excellence in training to the Health and Social Care Organisations, both Statutory and Voluntary. The training is geared and delivered as per the equality requirements.
At the time, our main aim was to get established as a contact centre offering contact supervision and assessment work for the local authorities and training our own in-house staff in the related and required topics. However this soon changed when local authorities started Commissioning Astha’s Global Training Services to provide training for their foster carers and Residential Social Work staff.
Since September 2005, Astha Global Training Services has been providing training on various subjects related to health and social care issues. We have been commissioned to provide tailor made training by Social Services, Health Authorities, Housing Associations, Private and Voluntary Sectors, ranging from children and families to vulnerable adults. We have also trained staff on how to develop and deliver care services within the NHS in conjunction with the Community Care Act 1990.
